Graeme has been a barrister for over 20 years with significant experience in many areas of law. He has appeared as counsel in many mediations and is himself a nationally accredited mediator. Graeme has taught communication at post graduate level for 20 years and has conducted many private communication workshops around Australia and in Asia. Graeme has taught advocacy around Australia, in the USA and in the UK.
As a barrister, Graeme has worked in the areas of commercial and equity, insolvency, building, estates and family provision, and family law. He has been recognised by Doyles Guide since 2016 as a leading barrister in commercial, family law and wills and estates law.
As a mediator, Graeme has been able to call on his diverse experience to assist parties in many areas of dispute.As a lecturer, Graeme taught postgraduate courses at the Australian National University in advocacy, insolvency, federal litigation and family law. With Blank Canvas, Graeme has conducted advocacy, negotiation and other workshops across Australia and in Asia for international law firms, Government agencies and smaller organisations and individuals.As an advocacy coach Graeme has been a member of the coaching faculty of the Australian Bar Association, a guest faculty member for the England & Wales Bar and has coached with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (USA).
